(→‎Trivia: Not doubting it being in the demo, but the badge turning Mario's clothes into Waluigi's sounds speculative. Would like a source on that.)

Template:Badge-infobox The W Emblem is a badge in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It can be bought from Charlieton for 360 coins. If Mario equips the badge, it changes the color scheme of his clothes to resemble Wario's and it also resembles his yellow costume from the Super Smash Bros. series, turning his hat and shirt yellow and his overalls purple and his shoes green. If combined with the L Emblem, it makes Mario's clothes resemble Waluigi's having his hat and shirt turned purple, his overalls becoming black and his shoes becoming orange.

Trivia

An early version of the W Emblem, only found in the demo.
  • In the demo version of the game, it was shown that the W Emblem was going to be purple. This implies that equipping this badge would make Mario's clothes would transform into Waluigi's clothes, rather than equipping the L Emblem with the W Emblem.[citation needed]
