Poison Pokeys are a sub-species of Pokey that extremely resemble Pokey Mummies in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. However, the two are completely different species, as Pokey Mummies are actually just dead Pokeys. Poison Pokeys are found solely at the Riverside Station in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and Dry Dry Ruins in Paper Mario.
They may be fought like you would a Pokey, but are stronger and can induce poison.
