It was founded by Brian Fargo in 1983, and is responsible for developing and publishing popular video game series such as Earthworm Jim and Fallout. In the 1990's, Interplay received a license from Nintendo to develop two Mario-themed computer software teaching users how to type, Mario Teaches Typing and Mario Teaches Typing 2.
