An Eggplant Man (also known as a Nasubi Kamen in Japan) is a metallic mask-wearing eggplant. It runs around aimlessly on its skinny legs.

Wrecking Crew (NES 1985)

Eggplant Men first appear on the second stage of the construction site. An Eggplant Man runs around in a predictable pattern - it will run straight until it hits a Dead-End Drum and has to turn around. It will climb up/down any ladder it comes across in it's path. If both a ladder up and a ladder down are in it's path, it will go down if moving left, and up if moving right.

Wrecking Crew '98 (Super Famicom 1998)

In this modern update, Eggplant Man is the second challenger in puzzle mode. It also appears in the original game on the same cart.

Other Appearances

Eggplant Man appeared in Super Smash Bros. Melee (Nintendo GameCube 2001) as a collectable trophy.

He also appeared in Chibi-Robo (Nintendo GameCube 2005) as Kid Eggplant, one of the three treasures Captain Plankbeard is searching for. The captain is wild about eggplants, and attempts to capture Kid Eggplant, however, he does not succeed. For freeing him, Kid Eggplant rewards Chibi-Robo with a Super Eggplant and a Kid Eggplant Sticker, after Chibi kindly rejects Kid Eggplant's offer to turn him into an eggplant.
