Miis are characters in the Wii console; they take residence in the Mii Channel. Miis are based off of human beings and players can design what their Miis look like. Players can make themselves into Miis or make any other person into Miis. Players can make as many Miis as they can fit in the Wii's memory.
The Miis can be used on many video games for the Wii and can even be playable in the game Wii Sports. If the player hasn't created any Mii yet and is playing Wii Sports, the player will play as one of the game's default characters.
Appearances in Mario Games
Miis have first appeared with Wario in WarioWare: Smooth Moves. In WarioWare: Smooth Moves, the Miis star in multiplayer mode and in a few of the microgames.
