:I'd say they're Koopa Troopas, especially if it's right there in the Japanese name. Much like my other recent noting on this, these are listed as their own larger family of Koopa, while the Japanese name would suggest they're a Koopa Troopa derivative....except in this case, it outright states they're a Troopa derivative.
