Fright Jar used in battle
Fright Jar

Template:Recipe-Infobox The Fright Jar is an item found in Paper Mario. When used in battle, it makes a Bowser-like ghost appear and may frighten enemies into retreating. Enemies defeated this way do not give Star Points, however. This item has no effect on bosses. Fright Jars can be bought at the Shroom Grocery.

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the Fright Jar is replaced by the Fright Mask.
