Template:Levelbox Simmering Lava Lake, or World Castle-7, is the seventh course in the seventh world of Super Mario 3D World, World Castle. It becomes accessible by clearing either Trick Trap Tower or Rammerhead Reef, and its own completion unlocks Bowser's Lava Lake Keep.
Layout
This level starts on a platform where lava rises and sinks. After navigating past some Parabones and Splorches, the player comes upon a Clear Pipe which transports them to an area with the Checkpoint Flag. This area houses some lava geysers, more of the aforementioned enemies, and a Clear Pipe at the end. The clear pipe brings the player to an area with a few Charvaarghs and the Goal Pole.
Green Stars
- Green Star 1: The first Green Star is near the first Splorch area, floating high above lava, and can only be reached with a Boomerang from the Boomerang Flower.
- Green Star 2: The player has to activate the Green Ring and collect all 8 Green Coins to reveal the Green Star.
- Green Star 3: After the stamp, the player must head south from the large gray square platform to find the third Green Star.
Stamp
- After the checkpoint, the stamp is underneath the gated floor. It can only be collected when the lava has sunken.
