Players attempt to find hidden blocks by jumping and punching them. The more note blocks one of the players will find, the more chances the player will mostly win. The player, who gets the most note blocks, wins.

However, the blocks are invisible, so players must jump around until they hit one, at which point it will become solid for a second, indicating it has been hit. Additionally, [[Brick Block]]s which have no value are hidden among the ♪ blocks; hitting one accomplishes nothing. The blocks will periodically glisten, giving the players a general idea of where they are.

Bound of Music is a duel mini-game found in Mario Party 5.

Gameplay

Players attempt to find hidden ♪ Blocks by jumping and punching them. However, the blocks are invisible, so players must jump around until they hit one, at which point it will become solid for a second, indicating it has been hit. Additionally, Brick Blocks which have no value are hidden among the ♪ blocks; hitting one accomplishes nothing. The blocks will periodically glisten, giving the players a general idea of where they are.
