Star 'Stache Smash is a minigame featured in an arcade in Little Fungitown during the events of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. However, the minigame is mandatory for the story to progress. The Mario Bros. could also play this arcade game for free. The rules of Star 'Stache Smash, as explained by a Geno doll, is to tilt the tray with the items on it into the open holes at each side of the screen. There is only one side open at a time. Pressing will tilt the tray to the right while pressing will tilt the tray to the left. Players have one minute (60 seconds) to rack up as many points as possible.
