Pure Conjecture

The title is pure conjecture based on the fact that we don't have an official name for the Marioverse. However, we seem to have forgotten that 'Marioverse' is a fan term and, therefore, has no 'official' name. -- Ghost Jam 20:23, 22 January 2007 (EST)

Has this page served its purpose? "Marioverse" is now just a redirect to Mario (series) and its creator, Ghost Jam, has stated that he wishes he had never created it because of the liberties people have taken with the term. Much of this page is speculation, and as Ghost Jam noted above about 1.75 years ago, it is a fan term. Shouldn't the MarioWiki be attempting to deny speculation and fan terms, especially with the newly rewritten MarioWiki:Canonicity (and MarioWiki:Chronology, both of) which place(s) new emphasis on the separation of official and fan ideas? So, is it time to delete this page? Stumpers! 16:19, 26 October 2008 (EDT)
