| The term '''Shroobified''' is used to describe someone or something that has been altered, changed, or created by the [[Shroob]] alien race in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time]]''. This most commonly refers to how the Shroobs placed purple fungus-like growths around the [[Mushroom Kingdom]], transforming some people into [[Shroob Mushroom]]s. The process can be reversed by baby tears. When exposed to these tears, people who have been turned into Shroob Mushrooms will return to their normal selves, a process known as '''re-toadification''', even when used in reference to non-[[Toad (species)|Toad]]s.
