IMO, it's worth mentioning as a subsection of sorts, related to Pianta Village maybe (assuming it isn't already, haven't skimmed the article), but I'm not too sold on splitting it off. {{User:Lord Grammaticus/sig}} 23:51, 23 December 2014 (EST) | IMO, it's worth mentioning as a subsection of sorts, related to Pianta Village maybe (assuming it isn't already, haven't skimmed the article), but I'm not too sold on splitting it off. {{User:Lord Grammaticus/sig}} 23:51, 23 December 2014 (EST) | ||

Colors
Blue, red, and yellow in Mario Superstar Baseball. What other colors are there. A wondering fan of Yoshi
Thats all there is.Knife (talk) 21:31, 6 March 2007 (EST)
Well, actually there is more than that, there is an orange Pianta on that picture. A now confused fan of Yoshi
In the beta test level there were dark purple piantas, but that was in a beta test level, so that must not count. Isyou 22:31, 6 March 2007 (EST)
So, really only orange beside the ones in Mario Superstar Baseball, right. YoshiFan
I know that there's official art of one pianta, but we don't have it on this site. It's holding the round spiky fruit. It's on www.themushroomkingdom.net, right here. We should upload it. CrystalYoshi
- I'm sure I have already seen it somewhere. Let me search... - Cobold (talk · contribs) 16:24, 11 February 2008 (EST)
- Indeed - Image:Durian.JPEG. However, that image is a cut-out version of the actual image, so the real one would fit better on this page. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 16:27, 11 February 2008 (EST)
Found it on gamehiker, here. Should I upload it? CrystalYoshi
There's also pink and brown piantas in Super Mario Sunshine.

Pianta's statistics for Super Mario Baseball should be added to the page.

- Which one? uper-Yoshi
All of 'em. His character bio, his speed, power, pitching skills, fielding, and his batting style (clumsy, hard to use) and general things like that. Such things should be discussed for other players' Baseball stats as well.

Since when is he in Mario Sports Mix? -- Superfiremario 15:50, 17 June 2011 (EDT)
They appear as spectators. They don't play a major role, but it is enough for them to be mentioned.

Should Chuckster be separate from Pianta?
I think Chucksters should be given their own page instead of being a redirect to Pianta. They are their own independent characters. They are different from regular Piantas, so they do not belong on this page. Based on this logic, Koopa the Quick would be a redirect to Koopa Troopa and Goombario a redirect to Goomba. Should we separate Chuckster and Pianta?
--Andyni, 5:09 PM EST, 11 November 2014
They're hardly independent characters, there's zero difference in personalities - or rather, there's no major difference worth noting here. Goombario and Koopa the Quick have their own distinct personalities compared to most if not all of their generic enemy counterparts in their respective games, and thus stand out far too much to simply merge the two articles - in short, your own logic contradicts your point regarding the Piantas. The thing is, not all Piantas throw as strong. This strength is reserved for a select few, for the Chucksters. It may not be the largest of differences, but doesn't this still make Chucksters different characters? Here's a better example: Missile Bills. The only difference between Missile Bills and Bullet Bills is that Missile Bills aim at Mario. Likewise, the only differences between Chucksters and Pinatas is that Chucksters can throw Mario; yet, Missle Bills get their own page and Chucksters don't. (I'm not arguing, I'm just giving my honest opinion.)
Andymii (talk) 23:06, 23 December 2014 (EST)
The idea with Missle Bills is that their attack pattern is different enough to be distinct; it goes from "fly forward forever in straight line" to "fly directly after target". Chucksters do have stupid strong throws, certainly, but it's... still a throw, y'know? Many Piantas throw Mario, some just throw further than others. It's the /degree/ in difference that matters, which I should've clarified the first time around. That's on me.
IMO, it's worth mentioning as a subsection of sorts, related to Pianta Village maybe (assuming it isn't already, haven't skimmed the article), but I'm not too sold on splitting it off. Lord G. matters. 23:51, 23 December 2014 (EST)
