Triforce Slash is the Final Smash of both Link and Toon Link in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. When used, Link or Toon Link traps an opponent in their path with the Triforce; Toon Link has less range than Link. The character then proceeds to slash the trapped opponents multiple times to build up damage, finishing with a blow that launches them. Toon Link's version of the move also has less knockback with the finishing slash though it has an increased range; the move overall also has a quicker startup time. Even though Triforce Slash only traps one opponent for the full duration of the move, other opponents in the proximity of the attack will also be caught and damaged, though are launched before the final attack.
