Sole Man is a microgame in the Strange folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!. A remake of the microgame appers in Game & Wario, where it is featured as part of the minigame Gamer.
Gameplay
A Fronk is on a beach, with several more of his species in the background. There is a large shadow that follows his around, followed by a foot falling from above. The player will have to use the to move Fronk out of the way before he gets stepped on. The foot will drop two times before the microgame ends. As the difficulty level increases, the size of the foot also increases.
- 1st level difficulty: There is a girl's foot.
- 2nd level difficulty: There is a big man's foot.
- 3rd level difficulty: There is a bigger fat woman's foot.
Game & Wario
- 1st level difficulty: A Fronk must avoid a girl's foot (as in the original game). The setting is a dirt road.
- 2nd level difficulty: Wario-Man must avoid a dinosaur's foot. The background is a city on fire.
- 3rd level difficulty: A boy in a Goomba costume must try to be stomped by Mario's foot. The setting is based on Super Mario Bros..
Appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl
The microgame appeared in the WarioWare, Inc. stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, where the players have to dodge the stomping foot, just like in the original microgame.
Trivia
- The name of the microgame comes from the hit song "Soul Man," which was written by Isaac Hayes and David Porter for Sam & Dave.
