Sairesu[1] are big-eared enemies from the game Donkey Kong on the Game Boy. They first appear in Stage 2-10 in the Forest. Sairesu are usually found sleeping on the floor covered in their huge ears. If they hear Mario approaching, they wake up and quickly charge at him with the spike on their head. If Mario touches them, he is defeated. If he escapes them, the Sairesu will fall asleep again. Sairesu run faster than any other enemies in the game and are very dangerous.
