Template:Newsubject Template:Item-infobox The Shell Helmet is an item exclusive to Super Mario Maker; when a shell item falls onto Mario, it will land on top of him and protect him with an extra hit. A few of the easier ways to obtain the Shell Helmet is either by grabbing and throwing a shell up and waiting for the shell to return, or jump up into a shell riding on the line guides.
