Template:Badge-infobox First Attack is a badge in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. In Paper Mario, it can be bought from Rowf and Rhuff's badge shop after chapter 1 for 100 coins, and in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it can be bought from the Lovely Howz of Badges after Chapter 2 for 100 Coins. If it is equipped by Mario, getting a First Strike on an enemy that would give one or less Star Points after a battle (which is considered to be "weak") defeats it instantly. Bump Attack, which involves defeating weak enemies after instantly coming into contact with them, overrides First Attack. In Paper Mario, it will not work against Amazy Dayzees and Dry Bones, or any enemies in the Pit of 100 Trials (as mentioned on a sign near the pit's pipe entrance) in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door[1].
