Onigiri is a real-life, Japanese food that suprisingly appeared as an enemy in Wrecking Crew '98. It is, as its name implies, a living rice ball snack. It can float through the air, and jump very high. When it gets upset, it is prone to exploding. Onigiri is the first secret opponent encountered.
As it is (as stated above) an actual type of food, generic onigiri managed to reappear as a Food item in Super Smash Bros. Melee, where it healed 8% of the player's health.
