Template:Pmenemybox A Flower Fuzzy is a subspecies of Fuzzy, introduced in the game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They typically live in tropical locations such as Keelhaul Key. However, some Flower Fuzzies seem to inhabit places such as the Pit of 100 Trials (floors 31 through 39) and Glitzville (as a member of the Glitz Pit fighting team, The Fuzz). Though normal Fuzzies are black in coloration, Flower Fuzzies have a pale pink coloration. They are arguably more powerful than other Fuzzies in the game, as they are capable of draining Mario and party's Flower Points instead of their Heart Points. Initially, Flower Fuzzies will drain 3 FP from the player per attack (hence their name); however, if the player runs out of FP, the Flower Fuzzies will begin to drain 3 HP from the player per attack.

Flower Fuzzies also have an additional attack to use against the player. This attack appears as an electrical force that damages both Mario and his present partner, causing three damage points to each. However, this attack costs the Flower Fuzzy 4 FP, meaning that said Flower Fuzzy must absorb 4 FP from the player before being able to initiate the attack.

On Keelhaul Key, Flower Fuzzies are usually seen in battle alongside Green Fuzzies. With a total of 6 HP, they have the highest HP of any common Fuzzy enemy found in the game; only the Gold Fuzzy, a semi-boss of Chapter 1, has more HP.

Template:Spmenemybox In Super Paper Mario, they are called Pink Fuzzies, since they no longer drain FP. They attack like regular Fuzzies, by bouncing around erratically, but they have both their HP and Attack stats doubled.

Trivia

  • In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Flower Fuzzies are the only Fuzzy species not to have a Paper Mario look-alike.
