Mario Kart TV is the fictional broadcasting system in Mario Kart 8. Using such systems, players can edit their own replay movies by using various options such as slo-mo, backmasking and fast-forward. If players use slo-mo while playing the replay, the entire replay will run very slowly until players stop the slo-mo. Players can choose other options such as backmasking and fast-forward - the video will go backwards if the backmasking is choosed, and it will go fast if players choose fast-forward.
