The Vanish Cap is a cap that when worn by Mario (Luigi in Super Mario 64 DS), turns him temporarily invisible, and invincible! Mario can also walk through metal fences while wearing it. Mario must first press the blue ! Switch in order to activate the blue blocks which contain vanish caps. It is mainly used in the Big Boo's Haunt level.
The Vanish Cap is found only in Super Mario 64In the DS version, Luigi uses this power, though the Vanish Cap is absent.
