Da Vine Climb is a Donkey Kong mini-game found in Mario Party 5.
This is one of the three Donkey Kong mini-games. It consists of climbing vines and collecting bananas in the process. The main obstacle are the several spiders located in the vines. Making contact with a spider will temporarily freeze the player. Since the game is only 10 seconds long, this is a great disadvantage.
Like all Donkey Kong mini-games,this is a coin-collecting mini-game. Each small banana awards 1 coin, while large bananas award the player 5 coins.
The background features a treetop wooden house, which belongs to Donkey Kong. He can be seen climbing a ladder and dancing or doing some kind of gesture on the house's balcony when he gets there. Of course, the whole mini-game takes place in a jungle.
In-Game Instructions
Collect as many bananas as you can while climbing the vine.
Advice
If you touch a spider, you will freeze temporarily. Avoid them if you can.
