In this boss-only course, Motley Bossblob gathers large gelationous blobs to transform himself into a large monster. The player must defeat him by using the [[Double Cherry]] to attack the boss when he is defenseless. After three hits, Motley Bossblob is defeated and the [{Warp Box]] to the [[Goal Pole]] is revealed.

Motley Bossblob reappears in [[Motley Bossblob's Encore|World Bowser-A: Motley Bossblob's Encore]] and [[Boss Blitz (Super Mario 3D World)|World Flower-12: Boss Blitz]] with a similar strategy.
 
The boss appears as he gathers the blobs together to become a big, metallic clown. Shortly after transformation, he attempts to chase the player, followed by a high jump, which leaves the boss vulnerable to jump attack when it is failed to land on the player. He will use this pattern for the rest of his turns.
 
==Strategy==
 
When the boss gets vulnerable after huge jump, jump on the boss - jumping on the blob will eliminate the blob but it will not affect on the boss. After 3 hits, the boss will get defeated. There is always a [[Double Cherry]] inside the blob, which comes out after the boss gets vulnerable.

Motley Bossblob is a boss that is introduced in World 6-C: Motley Bossblob's Big Battle. In this boss-only course, Motley Bossblob gathers large gelationous blobs to transform himself into a large monster. The player must defeat him by using the Double Cherry to attack the boss when he is defenseless. After three hits, Motley Bossblob is defeated and the [{Warp Box]] to the Goal Pole is revealed.

Motley Bossblob reappears in World Bowser-A: Motley Bossblob's Encore and World Flower-12: Boss Blitz with a similar strategy.
