Injured is a status affect that is found in Paper Mario. This status effect only occurs to Mario's partners he currently has on his party. If one of the partners attacks physically to a spiked enemy like a Spiky Goomba or a Cleft, the partner will instead get injured as there are a number of turns, commonly a number of turns will be mostly be one turn at the beginning of the game. The partner will stay injured until it counts down to 0. By then, the partner can't attack and switch partners as Mario has to fight alone.
