The Superbombomb is a weapon the Shadow Sirens were planning to use against Mario and his teammates in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. After Doopliss robbed Mario of his identity and teammates, Mario found this item for Vivian, who joined his team.

During Bowser's event at the ending of Chapter 5, Bowser and Kammy Koopa found Lord Crump in Twilight Town and demanded to know everything he knew about Mario and his team and the Crystal Stars. A face-off began between Lord Crump and the X-Naut Legion and Bowser, Kammy and the Koopa clan. When Crump and the X-Nauts began to attack the Koopas using this item, it was defective, but Bowser's fiery breath set it off.

Trivia

Unlike most Bom-ombs, this grenade is not alive.
