In general, if someone goes and asks a user a question, you should let the owner of the talk page answer the question themselves rather than jumping in before they even have a chance to check in on the discussion. This is especially true when it comes to admin matters, because you are not an admin and you are not in a position to give fully informed answers about how we handle our business. I know you're just trying to help, but please don't insert yourself into those sorts of interchanges, since, as in this case, conjecture may lead to misinformation being passed along, which is ''not'' helpful. And even if you know the answer for sure, it's still preferable if the inquiring user (or anon) hears it "straight from the horse's mouth", as it were.
