Mario Party 2 (pictured) is the only Mario Party installment for the Nintendo 64 to be released on the Virtual Console.
The green color of clothing for Luigi was inspired by the enemy Shellcreeper.
The Wii is the only Nintendo home console to date to not include a Mario game available at launch (with the exception of the Famicom, the Japanese version of the NES, which was released in 1983).
New Super Luigi U is the first game where Luigi makes a appearance, but Mario doesn't.
