Since we now have a modern appearance for the Angry Sun, I was wondering if we should make that the new picture for the article. Since the NSMBU style is the "modern look" for 2D Mario games, I believe it's safe to assume that this is the look the Angry Sun will have for now on. MKDS
There are a few fireballs bouncing on the course, but certainly not from the sky or an Angry Sun. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 12:08, 19 August 2006 (EDT)
But, I've seen the Angry Sun in MKDS in the Desert Hill track. -- Sir Grodus
- For reals! Well, in that case, I'll put the info back in. -- Son of Suns
- And he does shoot the fire. Evan had a very close eye. I don't pay attention to backgrounds that much, but when I went back to it today, guess what? I saw the Angry Sun as soon as I entered the course, then when I started the second lap I saw the Angry Sun for a second, then it ran away and in the next part of the course I saw the bottom half of a sun and fireballs shooting from directly under it. Para Yoshi Wahoo! 20:28, 7 December 2006 (EST)
I've seen the whole sun shoot out fireballs.

Trivia (Don't know, Don't ask)
- the sun never shoots out more than 4 fireballs at a time, in any game which it does. Max2
Reply to Sir Grodus' question
You asked whether or not this is a species or a character, when I'd probably say species. In the level where an Angry Sun appears, if you kill it, another one will come, obviously meening that there's more than just one. --Bentendo 16:21, 28 March 2007 (EDT)
Are you sure? Because I killed one in the Desert level of SMB3, waited around forever, and it didn't come back. Phoenix Rider
- Oh, I guess I'm wrong, sorry! --Bentendo 16:40, 28 March 2007 (EDT)'
Wario Land 3
Correct (but no yelling) me if im wrong. But isn't there a Angry Sun in Wario Land 3? It and the moon throw bolts and fireballs at Wario to knock him off high platforms - CC
You're correct. I remember getting angry at that sadistic celestial duo. -Shinx Man
Sprites
We need a SMB3 NES sprite. Feel the power!
Mario kart double dash.
I could of swear I saw him in Mario Kart double dash on "Dry dry desert" or whatever the desert thing is called. --Goombob XD (talk) 19:15, 14 May 2013 (EDT)Goombob
- I never saw it in Dry Dry Desert. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 20:31, 14 May 2013 (EDT)
Use NSMBU Angry Sun?
