Early builds
A screenshot on the back cover show that the Bazza enemies were originally eel-like creatures instead of the barracuda-like fish of the final game.
Unused Data
There are unused sprites in the game. They are sprites of Kracka (which were eventually used in the Game Boy Advance version) and unused sprites of Kopter (some of which were eventually used in Donkey Kong Land III).[1][2] and a Parry barrel.
