Why would Nintendo make an "experience" to look like a game and tell everyone it's not? I think it's a game since they have developed levels and have added new elements. --[[User:Rosalina1234|Rosalina1234]] 13:54, 19 July 2011 (EDT)Rosalina 1234

Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but from what I understood from watching the E3 broadcast, this isn't a new game at all. It was just a rough mod to show how the Wii U works to attendees of the conference. --Lemonnlime 10:41, 8 June 2011 (EDT)

"Currently this is only a prototype, so its future as a full-fledged game is uncertain." --Mario Fan 123 - Mario's craazy fan! Artwork of Mario in his classic victory pose, from Super Mario 64. 10:46, 8 June 2011 (EDT)

Vaporware?

Will NSMBM be vaporware? In that case, it would require the category of cancelled games . Correct me if I'm wrong ¢oincollctor rsitem209.png

Prolly unless they legitimately cancel it Goomba's Shoe15 (talk)

The logo doesn't seem to be official, rather, it looks like NSMBW logo merged with NSMB logo and Mii logo from this wiki. SWFlashSWFlash.svg

I thought that to but if you look at the menu screen image it is the same logo. Either someone copied and made their own to make it exactly the same or there is an image we don't have that they cut it from.Fuzzy in New Super Mario Bros. UYoshiGo99Artwork of a Yoshi egg on a tilt. It is unknown whether this artwork was released with a certain game or not.

Cancelled

Is this game REALLY going to be cancelled? I plan on getting a Wii U when it's released. - Green Yoshi Super Chris HelperArtwork of Mario

It was never going to be released it was just a tech demo a.k.a vaporware Goomba's Shoe15 (talk)
I guess it's just like Super Mario 128 then (remember that?) I'm glad in a way, as I'm waiting for SM3DL, and to buy two systems and games that close together would be a bit too much.
What would be cool is if they used these scraps of games for something. Like put them in released games as extras; like they already have bonus and hidden levels and such.Eric B 12:33, 24 October 2011 (EDT)

NSMBMii or is it NSMB2

New Super Mario bros. Mii was a TEST, right, a DEMONSTRATION. So..mabey NEW Super Mario bros. 2 and New Super Mario bros 2 are the same game! Think about it, no person would make a game from scratch and not use the technology. Mabey The NEW SUPER MARIO BROS 2 is the final version. It IS a coincidence that a year after they made the demo that a NEW SUPER MARIO BROS. was anounced, there is also the posobility of it being on the WiiU and the 3ds like MARIO AND SONIC series. So look up some info.

Games have been made purely for hardware demonstation that were not released. That's why they're called Tech Demos. Additionally, New Super Mario Bros. Mii was a Tech Demo for the Wii U to demonstrate High-Definition gameplay. And the Mario game currently in development for the Wii U is based off of the tech demo. There have been no links so far to the Wii U and 3DS Mario games upcoming, so currently they are acknowledged as seperate games. There is no information you have made that is a solid fact, so it is speculation. Please save this speculation for the forums.

And please don't write your theories on both pages. You only need to say it once.mariofanatic64 (talk)
