The Bowser Time Gauge (Also known as Bowser Time Meter) is a game mechanic that only appears during a Party Cruise match in Mario Party 7. This gauge tells the player how angry Bowser is. The gauge always start at 0% when the match begins and after each minigame, the gauge will increase by 20%. After five minigames, the gauge will be full, the alarm will sound and then it will trigger the Bowser Time special event. The players can check how full the gauge is by pausing the game. When there are five turns left until the end of the game, the meter will not appear.
