In Mario Party 9, Bowser has an event called a Reverse Minigame! When a player lands on a Bowser Space A roulette wheel with all sorts of Bowser Events will appear. If the wheel stops on a Reverse Minigame, then the players will have a chance to participate in a Minigame! The rules of this event are very different then a standard Free-For-All Minigame! Bowser will award 10 Mini Stars to the player who finishes in last place. Here is a list of the Reverse Minigames!
- Thwomper Room - Be the first player to get hit by a Thwomp!
- Billistics - Be the first player to get hit by an incoming Bullet Bill!
- Chain Event - Be the player who takes the longest sliding down the chain! Players can slow their descent by hitting Spike Balls on the way down!
- Tumble Temple - Be the first player to get smashed by a Spike Ball!
