Template:Minigame-infobox Cheep Cheep Shot is a boss minigame in Mario Party 9.
Introduction
The players will dive into the ocean. Cheep Cheep will then swim around for a second before coming up in front of them.
Gameplay
The players must damage Cheep Cheep by grabbing the Green Shells inside bubbles and tossing them at Cheep Cheep, which will earn them three points. He or she must also avoid its attack: heading right for the player by charging at the part of the screen they are on at that point. When Cheep Cheep loses half its health, it will become enraged, speeding up its tackling attack. It will also fly out of the water and dive back in in a spiral.
Ending
When Cheep Cheep is defeated, it will simply tilt back in pain before exploding and revealing Mini Stars.
