Dr. Wario is a minigame that can be unlocked in the game WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania. The game can be unlocked by completing 25 mails on Jimmy T.'s "sports" minigame set. The game is based on the NES version of Dr. Mario.
Differences
- Dr. Wario is the main character.
- The Viruses look different. In contrast, the real Virus sprites are used in the Dr. Mario microgame.
- There is no 2-player mode.
- The player can press Down to accelerate the falling pills after a line clear.
- The bottle is smaller, only thirteen cells tall instead of sixteen. As such, each level uses a lower number of Viruses than Dr. Mario.
- All music and sounds used are similar to the originals, but somewhat "knockoff-ish".
- The level/speed-select menu does not feature a music option; consequently, there is no way to turn the music off.
- A knockoff version of "Chill" is used during each level, but a knockoff of the "Fever" clear music is used upon beating each level. The "Fever" level music and "Chill" clear music are not used at all during the game.
