Template:Minigame-infobox Take a Breather is a 4-player minigame in Mario Party 4. Its name comes from the phrase "take a breather", which is a way to suggest taking a break from something.
Gameplay
The goal of the game is to take a deep breath and stay underwater the longest. The players are given five seconds to breathe in air. After the five seconds are up, the players go underwater. The person that holds his or her breath underwater for the longest amount of time wins. If one of the characters holds his or her breath for seven seconds, a Boo Plate is added to the Present Room.
