Piranha Pests DO appear in another game. In Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, Petey Piranha spits them out to attack. --Mario24 18:56, 14 August 2011 (EDT)

Appearance and japanese name are exactly the same, therefore they should be merged just as was done with previous mergers like Goby and Cheep-Cheep, and Podoboo and Lava Bubble.
