- In Donkey Kong Land 2 (pictured), the level Glimmer's Galleon does not feature Glimmer. Even though, the title remains as "Glimmer's Galleon".
- In the beginning of the Mario Party 7 mini-game Apes of Wrath, if Yoshi, Birdo, or Boo are participating, they will eat the entire apple rather than just taking one bite like the other characters. Also, if Dry Bones participates, his head will be detached when eating the apple.
- Gloomtail is the only dragon boss in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door that does not have a Super Paper Mario equivalent.
- The Sunflower Kids in Super Mario Sunshine are apparently females.
