Dark Craws are a dark version of Craws (like Dark Bones are the dark version of Dry Bones). They are one of the numerous enemies encountered during the events of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Dark Craws attack in the same manner Gus does: they throw their spears, and charge towards the player with them, but since they have double the attack power of a normal Craw, they do more damage (the rest of their stats are the same as Gus). Because of the Dark Craw's spear, Mario cannot jump on it, for he will take damage. The only way Mario can jump on top of a Dark Craw without taking damage is if he has the Spike Shield badge equipped.

Template:Pmenemybox Dark Craws are a dark version of Craws.

Only one Dark Craw is encountered during the main story of the game. While Mario is fighting in the major league of the Glitz Pit, he will encounter an enemy known as Craw-Daddy. Craw-Daddy is usually ranked within the top five fighters of the Glitz Pit.

Dark Craws are also found in the Pit of 100 Trials, between floors 61 and 69. Here, Dark Craws are found more frequently, and often in groups. Because their attack and HP are so high, fighting multiple Dark Craws at once can be detrimental to Mario's health.
