After easily beating Mimi in [[Sammer's Early Duels]] (AKA The End of A World) (after she pretended to be [[King Sammer]] and attempted to destroy them with a bomb), the heroes realize [[Mimi]] wasn't trying to beat them, but to delay them from claiming the [[Pure Heart]]. She succeeds, and the heroes past through gates without fighting, and the world ends. However, [[Tippi]] manages to transport [[Mario]], [[Peach]] and [[Bowser]] back to [[Flipside]] to save them.

Still needing the [[Pure Heart]] that [[King Sammer]] had possessed, [[Mario]] decided to try reentering the Blue Door, confused as to why it still remained. To his horror, he found Sammer's Kingdom completely obliterated; not just the kingdom, but the entire space-time continuum. All that remained was a black line for the ground. In a blank, white void, Mario occasionally came across completely black ruins of the kingdom, buried in the nonexistent ground.

No life was to be found as [[Mario]] trudged on and on. It seemed to take forever, yet there seemed to be no end of the strange abyss. Just as he was starting to think about heading back, though, [[Mr. L]] (a brainwashed [[Luigi]]) appeared and took the Broken [[Pure Heart]] just for "kicks". [[Mario]] and [[Mr. L]] then battled; [[Mr. L]] wielded an improved model of the [[Brobot]], the [[Brobot L-Type]]. It was a fierce battle, but [[Mario]] won. All was not to cheer, though. The [[Pure Heart]] was no more alive than its original possessor, King Sammer. The stone-turned Pure Heart was useless in its current state, so Mario and his friends somberly left to see what [[Merlon]] would suggest to do.
Shortly after they leave, Mr. L returns to consciousness and is visited by [[Dimentio]], who gives him a [[Game Over]], sending him to [[The Underwhere]] (and reverting him back to [[Luigi]] in the process). Dimentio then appears before Mario, Peach and Bowser in Merlon's house, granting all three of them Game Overs as well. While they were in The Underwhere, Mario finds Queen Jaydes, who repowers the broken Pure Heart so that the heroes can continue on in their quest to destroy the Void and save the world.

Shortly after they left, however, Mr. L returned to consciousness, only to be visited by [[Dimentio]]. Dimentio proceeded to give Mr. L a [[Game Over]], sending him to [[The Underwhere]] (which also reverts him back to [[Luigi]] in the process). Dimentio then appeared before Mario, [[Princess Peach]], and [[Bowser]] in Merlon's house and did the same thing to them. While they were in [[The Underwhere]], Mario finds Queen Jaydes, who repowers the broken Pure Heart.

Until [[The Void]] was destroyed (along with [[Tippi]] and [[Count Bleck]] being restored to their former selves), the World of Nothing served no purpose and had no reason to be entered. With the Void's destruction, Sammer's Kingdom was restored.

Template:Level The World of Nothing is the setting of Chapter 6-1 (when visited the second time) from Super Paper Mario. It is the result of The Void's destruction of Sammer's Kingdom. Unlike the other levels of Super Paper Mario, this version of 6-1 has no title; "World of Nothing" comes from The InterNed as the name of the background music (which is generally the same for the world it comes from in the game).

Chapter 6-1 (Untitled)

After defeating Mimi in Chapter 6-2: The End of a World, the heroes realize too late that she had been delaying them from claiming the Pure Heart before the The Void destroys Sammer's Kingdom. Fortunately, Tippi manages to transport Mario, Princess Peach and Bowser back to Flipside to save them.

Still needing the Pure Heart that King Sammer had possessed, Mario and the others decide to try reentering the Blue Door, confused as to why it still remained. To their horror, they find Sammer's Kingdom completely obliterated. All that remains is a blank, white void with a line for the ground, out of which sticks a few outlines of ruins. Mario and the others walk onwards through the abyss, eventually finding the Pure Heart, which is now lifeless and turned to stone. Mr. L (a brainwashed Luigi) appears to steal the Pure Heart, and Mario and the others battle him. He uses an improved model of the Brobot, the Brobot L-Type, to fight, but is eventually defeated. Mario and the others then return to Flipside to consult Merlon about what to do with the dead Pure Heart.

Shortly after they leave, Mr. L returns to consciousness and is visited by Dimentio, who gives him a Game Over, sending him to The Underwhere (and reverting him back to Luigi in the process).

The World of Nothing serves no purpose and has no reason to be entered. With the Void's destruction, Sammer's Kingdom is restored.
