Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island was the second game in the Super Mario World series. It had introduced another change in the Piranha Plant's design, which was used later in Paper Mario, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Super Mario 64 and other games. There was also a boss called Naval Piranha, which is a regular Piranha Plant powered up by Kamek, causing it to protrude many vines and grow in size.
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island was later re-released for the Game Boy Advance under the title Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3.
Many consider this one of the greatest games of all time. Not only because of gameplay, but the art gallery of complicated sprites in every level.
