The level starts out with Purple Yoshi in a cave, when the screen will start scrolling, and forcing the player through traps like Lava, and Chomp Rocks. During the very long decent the Yoshi encounters many Lava Drops, and Boo Guys, and it needs to ride a few Flatbed Ferries.
Eventually the Yoshi winds up at an area where it needs to use an Expansion Block to keep going. After that it encounters a large gap, it needs to jump along thin stone pillars, with Chomp Rocks rolling on them, trying to push it off them. At the end of that the Yoshi clears the level.
