How you have been acting towards the admins is unacceptable: you disregard our warnings, tell us what to do as if you're better than us, and waste our time with your petty requests - requests which you are clearly not making to better the wiki, but to draw attention to yourself, like when you pestered both Fawfulfury65 and Glowsquid about a nonexistent issue regarding a long-retired and highly regarded Sysop. Your inability to mind your own business doesn't appear to be limited to administrative matters, either: here, Xzelion was asking his old friend Coincollector a question: you had no business cutting in and answering it. Learn to respect other people's conversations, and while you're at it, learn to respect our privacy too: there have been complaints about how you've been asking people personal questions (about our ages and such). Your behavior is becoming intolerable, but the main reason for this block is your impudence. But if you want my honest opinion, I have to tell you that it's very, very unlikely that you'll ever be promoted. See, I feel – and I think many of the other admins feel – that your whole goal on this wiki up to this point has been getting a promotion. There is a certain pattern to your edits that suggests as much. Namely, You try to ingratiate yourself with administrators all the time by being "friendly" and calling us "sir". It's not working. It's just irritating. You make countless small, marginally significant edits, assumedly because you think this makes you look good in the eyes of admins. It doesn't. We prefer a few major edits over many small edits. You constantly ask to be promoted. Even after you were told to stop, you continued to hint around and talk about promotion all the time. I mean, just look at your recent edits to Phoenix's talk page. Wanting to be promoted all the time isn't your only problem, but in my opinion, it's the most major one. See, we don't want administrators who are interested in gaining prestige. This isn't the society of feel good about yourself. We are here to make an encyclopedia about Mario, and if that isn't your first priority on this site, you're doing it wrong. And don't claim that you're uninterested in prestige, or that I've misunderstood. You're completely transparent, and we've all seen your type of editor a hundred before. There's no point in lying anymore. Just own up to what you've done, stop doing it, and move on. Then maybe you'll have a chance of promotion some day. I didn't actually say anything about a rule nine that you violated so I don't know what you're trying to say. If you're talking about the ninth entry in this list, then I have to say that there is no "rule nine". The items on there are not rules, nor are they a checklist of things you need to do to get promoted. They are simply guidelines meant to steer you away from those behaviors that will make you look bad in the eyes of the staff, and towards those that will make you look good. Even if you didn't go against the literal words in point nine, you still fell into exactly the behavior pattern it seeks to prevent. So yes, by "telling everyone you wanted to be a sysop in a way that wasn't a request" you were in violation of the guidelines in MarioWiki:FAQ.
