::Bumping this; yes, it needs merged. Firstly, because the name "tornado" for these comes from the instruction booklet, which is on the highest-tier source for names, while "galactic tornado" is unsourced. Also, the arguments in the opposition from the proposal above made absolutely no sense, randomly badmouthing Prima for no reason despite them having nothing to do with this, and specifying that they're "galactic," as if that has any bearing on anything found in those games as well as other games. They also function basically the same as the tornadoes in ''Super Mario 64'' and ''New Super Mario Bros.''. There is no real reason these should be split, period. ::::::My point was the rules were a bit....swept under the rug, in that case (discussing on a different site, without a proposal, while that proposal about naming order came immediately after, as I already said), and the above proposal's opposition was rather ridiculous. Doesn't it sound a bit too minor? Does it even relate to the Tweester? RAP... On the track with the items lists as I am interrupted by this topic.
- I don't remember seeing these guys either. Maybe describing what they look like, I may remember. Paper Jorge ( Talk·Contributions)·GENO WHIRL!
Seeing than this article is a stub and link to a planet article, I say it's an article about a Beta-Elements thing that was made before Galaxy release. --Blitzwing 11:27, 16 February 2008 (EST)
Is this name official?? Mario JC
Wait, when were these ever found in Bowser's Galaxy Reactor...? PHOENIX (talk • edits) 04:32, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
- On the quicksand planet. They can be seen on the other side of the planet if you long jump away from the planet's starting position, I think. Mario JC
Oh, alright then, I just never noticed them... PHOENIX (talk • edits) 04:58, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

First things first.
We should change the title to just Tornado, because they go by that name in the Super Mario Galaxy Instruction Booklet.
Furthermore... since the article will then be about ALL Tornadoes we can move the SMB3,SM64,NSMB,SMS & DDR:MM sections of the Tweester article (which are all about tornadoes in general, not Tweesters.) into the Tornado article.
(This will effect the Tornado and Tweester articles.)

Oppose[edit]
- MrConcreteDonkey (talk) Tweesters look different to these, and there are many more official sources than instruction books. I guess the name comes from one of these.
- FourPaperHeroes (talk) Per MrConcreteDonkey. I usually tend to not trust prima guide too much.
- SWFlash (talk) I just saw "just Tweester" in SMG as well as those tornados.
- Yoshiwaker47 (talk) These are different because they're taller, and they help you, unlike Tweesters.
- Yoshigalaxy2 (talk) They are totally different. Tweesters have faces and are WAY smaller than a galactic tornado. I think we should keep them as two articles.
- Coincollector (talk) - Per all, Also, as far as I know the "tornadoes" in SMB3 are called Tweesters. So if there is a tornado (whether it has eyes or not) that is called tweester goes to tweester.
- Walkazo (talk) - Per all.
- New Super Mario (talk) They are different from each other
- Yoshi's Island (talk) - Per all.
- Laikue (talk) - Per all.
- Mario&Kirby180 (talk) - Per all
- Mario4Ever (talk) Per all.
Comments[edit]
I don't see the point of this. Neutral SWFlash
Why does mine say 1??? Yoshiwaker
I'm not saying to merge them, i'm saying that some sections of the tweester article (like the SMB3 part) should be placed here AND in the Super Mario Galaxy Instruction booklet the Galactic Tornado is called a Tornado.
-IGGY7735
- Well, no. Galactic Tornadoes are Galactic, which really doesn't scream 'desert' to me, and there are more recent and reliable sources than instruction booklets. MrConcreteDonkey (talk)
Merge with Tornado[edit]
