Tucayo: The effects of the [[Life Shroom]] from RPGs (and SPM) is that it revives Mario when he dies. HOWEVER in the SMG series, a [[Life Shroom]] simply restores health. Those are two different effects and therefore are not the same item. In this case, the Smile Meter is just a fancy name for a health bar. {{User|Marioguy1}}

Say, why don't we create a generic Health Bar/Meter/ect instead of having 10 articles on what is the same thing with a different name? --Blitzwing 06:34, 22 March 2009 (EDT)

Well this one acts somewhat differently than a "regular" health meter, but perhaps we should create an article about the concept of health meter with links to other specialized forms of the concept (such as this page). -- Son of Suns (talk)

Merging[edit]

The appearance is really minor. Althrough I do not want to make proposal. SWFlashSWFlash.svg

Merge Smile Meter with Health Meter[edit]

Settledproposal.svg This talk page proposal has already been settled. Please do not edit any of the sections in the proposal. If you wish to discuss the article, do so in a new header below the proposal.

Merge 12-1

I don't think every health meter's appearance should have its own article. It's stub, trivia written without its own section, not much info, screenshots.

Support[edit]

  1. SWFlash (talk) Per me
  2. Zero777 (talk) I am Zero! They are two different names but the EXACT same function. Zero signing out.
  3. Ultramariologan (talk) Per SWFlash.
  4. MrConcreteDonkey (talk) Per all.
  5. WigglerWhoopin'Warrior135 (talk) Per all.
  6. Yoshigalaxy2 (talk) They do the exact same thing, right? Merge them together!
  7. New Super Mario (talk) It even states it's a health meter, so it should be with the others. We don't have a different page for each health meter in every other game.
  8. Phoenix (talk) Definitely merge the two; it's pointless to have multiple different articles discussing the same thing...
  9. UltimatePetey (talk) Per all.
  10. Mario&Kirby180 (talk) Per all.
  11. Marioguy1 (talk) - Per proposal.
  12. Bowser's luma (talk) Per all.

Oppose[edit]

  1. Tucayo (talk) - This is called inconsistency. You can't propose this, and then the Life Shroom thing, it's just illogical.
