:I agree. Although the respective articles (Bull, Penguin (WL), Giant Ghost, the latter one is surely not the WL2 ghost) don't have the "conjecture" template, I doubt that those generic names are official, the same goes for articles on the common creatures, like Bird (WL), Flying Chicken and Rat. I wrote a message on the talk page of the author of these articles, but he/she did never respond. So I also think we should move the articles to the Japense names. But about the Genie, maybe he was called "Genie" in a Nintendo Power issue or something? And I can prove that the name list on the Gamehiker site has validity, because two of the names, Beefne (Biifun) and Hinyari, were also used in the German Club Nintendo magazine back then. And the Japanese Wikipedia uses those names as well. --Grandy02 14:09, 28 September 2008 (EDT)

::I agree 100%. Although I'm not to sure on keeping it Genie because of NP. But, as I said earlier, they did give the Three Little Pigheads they're names. *Shrugs* I'm just glad we can give these things real names.--The Qu 15:11, 30 September 2008 (EDT)

All right, I'm new here, with a suggestion: Apparently, in Super Mario-Kun volume 11, the Wario Land bosses are given names. Their names can be found on this page: http://www.gamehiker.com/wiki/index.php?title=Enemies_in_Wario_Land With the exception of the Spiked Koopa Troopa, who's semi-official name comes from a Nintendo Power special, I propose that the pages for the bosses be renamed ala the bosses for SML2. FYI, the Genie's name is Denpuu. --The Qu 00:29, 16 August 2008 (EDT)

I agree.

Identifier[edit]

Why is there an identifier here? It's the only character named just "Genie". All the others in the disambiguation page have other names. I feel like the disambiguation page should get an identifier --Magma. (talk) 18:57, July 3, 2020 (EDT)

The genie from The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! should be under that name as well. LinkTheLefty (talk) 19:02, July 3, 2020 (EDT)
