| When a [[Yoshi (species)|Yoshi]] attempts to eat only the head of the Turbo Tulip, the Yoshi is turned into an [[Yoshi Egg]]. While in that state, the [[player]] can use this form to get to other places. The player uses the Control stick to launch the Yoshi like a catapult; if the player releases the Control Stick, the Yoshi launches in a certain direction. There are limitations of using the form; the player cannot move the Egg during that time. During the form, the player has a limited time to use the form if possible. When the time is up, the Yoshi is back to its normal self. Additionally, the player can use a C Button to cancel the form and change the Yoshi back to normal also.

| After eating the head of the flower; the flower's head grows back after it was eaten, just like a [[Power Flower]]. The Yoshi can use it much as the player can.
