| While cursing is allowed, we still do not allow derogatory terms in the chatroom; nor do we allow sexually explicit content. Cursing is a completely different thing from the two aforementioned subjects.

| No flaming. Comments deemed as flaming will result in a kick and/or ban. This includes complaining to the Ops that they are Ops, and that you are not. Please note that accusing the Ops of breaking rules is not grounds for punishment, and is completely acceptable. However, if the Op in question states why you were kicked or banned, and it is in compliance with the rules, you hold no right to accuse the Op of abusing their power or breaking the rules.

| No sexually-oriented conversing. Specific comments about sex, nudity, or other particularly graphic comments will result in a kick and/or ban. This does not include saying words such as "sex", but rather going into detail about said subject.

| No spamming or trolling. Typing a coherent comment or random gibberish more than 5 times will result in a kick and/or ban. Movie quotes, song lyrics and other things of that sort will not be tolerated after 5 lines.

| No impersonating. Changing your nickname is only acceptable as long as it is linked to your username in some manner. Nick abusing will result in a kick and/or ban. Furthermore, you can not use your previous names on the wiki or forum on chat, as that is no longer your name; only your current name(s) is allowed.

| These rules are subject to change at any time by the #mariowiki Operators' collective decisions. Any rules that are added or changed are to be followed in the same manner that all others are. Any complaints about the rules should be brought up on the corresponding talk page, not to the chatroom Operators. Remember: the chatroom is a privilege, not a right.
