Has anyone noticed that Ratooeys have a resemblance (aside from the head) to the Pokemon Ampharos? Same body structure, white belly, stubby arms, Ratooeys even have the little orb on their tails. -- Sir Grodus

Many Mario creatures look like Pokémon, if you look closely. I don't remember any, at the moment, but there are some. D:

There's a lotta of poke'mon. Any resemblance unless noted in game is coincidental.
