The article states that the Giant Spear Man follows Wario in the final ending of ''Wario Land II'' because he switched the side. But I don't think there is anything in the game that would confirm that. He could simply chase after Wario to get Syrup's treasure back (at the end, he goes into Wario's castle, just like Syrup's goons did in the opening). In my opinion, it isn't made clear what the Giant Spear Man's purpose is, and personally, it doesn't seem very likely to me that a henchman of Syrup just becomes Wario's "friend." --[[User:Grandy02|Grandy02]] 06:54, 17 December 2009 (EST) | |||
:I know what you mean. The game doesn't give much evidence for whatever the Giant Spear Man's motives are during the end credits, so it's open for interpretation. Role in the Ending[edit]
The article states that the Giant Spear Man follows Wario in the final ending of Wario Land II because he switched the side. But I don't think there is anything in the game that would confirm that. He could simply chase after Wario to get Syrup's treasure back (at the end, he goes into Wario's castle, just like Syrup's goons did in the opening). In my opinion, it isn't made clear what the Giant Spear Man's purpose is, and personally, it doesn't seem very likely to me that a henchman of Syrup just becomes Wario's "friend." --Grandy02 06:54, 17 December 2009 (EST)
